SchoolsPLP partners with Copyleaks to bring AI-aware academic integrity to every classroom

New integration embeds Copyleaks' AI and plagiarism detection directly into student submissions, giving teachers instant signal without leaving the gradebook.

SchoolsPLP today announced a strategic partnership with Copyleaks, the leading AI-based text analysis platform, to embed plagiarism and AI-content detection natively inside the SchoolsPLP learning experience. Beginning with the 2026–27 school year, every written submission across SchoolsPLP courses can be scanned in-line, no export, no extra logins, and no third-party workflow for teachers to manage.

"Copyleaks shares our conviction that integrity tooling has to live where the work happens. This partnership took shape because both teams kept asking the same question: how do we give teachers a calm, trustworthy signal without adding one more tab to their day?"
Brian Snyder, National Director of Partnerships, SchoolsPLP

The integration surfaces an integrity score on each assignment, highlights flagged passages, and links directly into the teacher's grading queue. Districts retain full control over thresholds, notifications, and student-facing visibility.

"We built the Copyleaks integration to feel native, not bolted on. Scans run server-side against every submission, results flow back into the gradebook through the same pipeline as a rubric score, and nothing leaves the SchoolsPLP perimeter that doesn't have to. That's how integrity tooling should work."
Angeline Quinones, Director of Technology, SchoolsPLP
"AI didn't change whether students need integrity, it changed what 'evidence of learning' looks like. We're not interested in catching kids. We're interested in giving teachers the context they need to coach kids back into authentic work."
BJ Dines, Chief Executive Officer, SchoolsPLP

The partnership also unlocks Copyleaks' source-matching and multilingual support for SchoolsPLP's dual-language and credit recovery programs.
