Spanish 2A is the next course in the Spanish sequence, and this course introduces complex grammatical components, such as reflexive verbs and the present progressive, preterite, and imperfect tenses, along with idiomatic expressions unique to the Spanish language. Building on an ever-growing lexicon, students incorporate concepts to form questions, express preferences and possession, discuss the past, and describe and compare people, places, and locations. Spanish 2 continues to build a foundation for students in their pursuit to learn and master the Spanish language.
